With more than one million CDs sold to date, plus a steady stream of national television and motion picture soundtrack
appearances, leading teenage pop group Jump5 is set for an even brighter future with the upcoming release of its next studio
project, DREAMING IN COLOR, in stores everywhere September 21.
Jump5 speaks directly to the thriving tween-age audience on DREAMING IN COLOR with a positive message about "the importance
of being comfortable with who you are and being your best." The recording features the group's signature high-energy modern
music style, this time distinctly marked by each member's (ages 16-18) growing personal and spiritual convictions; there's
even a song ("Feels Like Falling") co-written by Jump5's Brittany Hargest.
"The Jump5 that made DREAMING IN COLOR is a much more confident group than the group which made the previous studio records,"
says Brad O'Donnell, Vice President of A&R at EMI CMG Label Group. "Brandon (Hargest), Lesley (Moore), Chris (Fedun),
and Brittany are much more involved with choosing songs, choosing producers and creating vocal arrangements."
Another significant change on DREAMING IN COLOR is that Jump5 is now a foursome. On the friendliest of terms, original
member Libby Hodges chose to leave the group earlier this year and return to life as a full-time high school student. The
group initially sought a replacement for Libby, but ultimately decided things would gel better with just the remaining four
original members going forward.
Jump5 will support DREAMING IN COLOR by co-headlining the SHOUTfest tour this fall and will later embark on its second
headlining Christmas tour. For concert listings and developing information about DREAMING IN COLOR, in stores September 21.
